This is it. Star Fox 2. This was based on the prototype that Nintendo finished but never released. No one really knows why they didn't release. Something to do with the impending launch of the N64 way back then. Regardless, this game is awesome sauce. Seriously, if you've ever wondered how far a Super Nintendo can be pushed, this will answer those questions.

This version is built around the GSU-1 FX Chip. This is slower than the GSU-2 FX Chip, but it is much easier to find and has built in save support. The game plays fine on the GSU-1, and repromakers have always typically used this chip to make the game. There is some slight slow down when many enemies are on the screen at the same time, but it is very playable regardless.

NOTE: The Standard Edition comes in the GREY CARTRIDGE.
